Attorney Richard E. Rowe was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio in 1944. He graduated from Ravenswood High School in Ravenswood, West Virginia. He attended West Virginia University, graduating with a major in Finance in 1966. At the West Virginia University Law school he was a member of the Law Review, graduating Order of the Coif in 1969.

He joined Wilson Frame & Rowe in Morgantown, West Virginia, where he practiced primarily in criminal defense, personal injury, product liability, and domestic relations law. In 1978 he became a partner in Goodwin & Goodwin in Charleston, West Virginia, where his practice areas included civil litigation for defense clients, Chapter 13 and 11 Bankruptcy for debtor clients, products liability, personal injury, and professional liability for the plaintiff.

In 2011, he became “Of Counsel” to GreeneWilsonCrow in New Bern, North Carolina where his practice areas include federal criminal defense, civil litigation, and personal injury law. He is a member of the bar of West Virginia, West Virginia District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts, North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina District Court for the Eastern District, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and The Supreme Court of the United States.
