Carol Stubbs has over 20 years of experience in legal administration and currently supports the attorneys and clients at Greene, Wilson, Styron & Thomas. Since joining the firm in 2025, she has drawn on her knowledge of North Carolina court procedures and strong organizational skills to help manage casework and maintain efficient daily operations. Carol is recognized for her reliability, attention to detail, and clear, courteous communication with clients, court staff, and legal professionals.
Before joining Greene, Wilson, Styron & Thomas, Carol worked for over two decades at Stubbs & Perdue, P.A., where she assisted with a variety of legal matters, including federal and consumer bankruptcy. She also previously owned and operated Captain Ratty’s Seafood & Steakhouse, a longtime local favorite in New Bern. Carol has been involved in community efforts through her service on the Swiss Bear Board and the Municipal Service District (MSD) Advisory Board, contributing to downtown New Bern’s ongoing development and revitalization.
