Thomas R. Wilson was born in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated from John Burroughs High School in 1995. He attended Miami University in Ohio, where he earned a B.A., cum laude, in English in 1999. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University in 2003. At Saint Louis University he served as a faculty fellow, researching and writing on administrative and environmental legal issues. He also received academic achievement awards in administrative law, constitutional law, criminal procedure, advanced legal research and writing, and first amendment law.
He was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2003. From 2003-2005, Tom served as a research assistant and clerk to the honorable Judge Douglas McCullough of the North Carolina Court of Appeals. Prior to forming GreeneWilsonCrow in 2007, Tom was an associate at the law firm Stubbs & Perdue, P.A. from 2005-2007. His areas of practice include state and federal criminal law, criminal and civil appeals, and environmental law.
